Dengue fever is a common viral illness transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes in tropical and subtropical regions. The infection can cause a range of symptoms, from mild fever and body aches to more severe complications that may require medical attention. Certain individuals, such as young children, the elderly, those with weakened immune systems, and those experiencing dengue for a second time, are at higher risk of experiencing severe symptoms if infected.

Who is eligible to take this vaccine?

This vaccination is recommended for individuals aged 4 years and above.

How many doses of vaccine will be provided?

Dengue Vaccine is to be administered in TWO doses, three months apart according to the recommended dosing plan. Each dose is a 0.5 mL injection under the skin.

When will I get vaccinated?

Vaccination dates will be available starting 14 May 2024. You will receive a prior notification to schedule your vaccination dates at your preferred location. Due to the limited number of slots available within the next 2-3 months, the vaccination slots will be prioritized based on pre-booking purchase confirmation dates.

Where will I get vaccinated?

You will be assigned a clinic within your selected location/city. The exact clinic location to be provided prior to the appointment.

• Registration: Bring your identification document (NRIC for Malaysians, passport for non-Malaysians) and appointment confirmation on the day of your vaccination.
