Caused by the varicella zoster virus (VZV), chickenpox is a highly contagious viral infection. It is characterized by many itchy, red, blister-like rashes on the skin all over the body, accompanied by fever, lethargy, loss of appetite and headache. The Typhoid vaccine is usually an inactivated type of vaccine which triggers the immune system to produce antibodies to fight the Salmonella typhi bacteria if it enters the body. It is mandatory for people who work in the F&B industry and handle food, as per the Malaysian Food Act 1983 and Food Hygiene Regulation 2009.
