Hepatitis A is a very contagious, acute liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus, which causes liver inflammation and impairs its function. The virus can spread through direct contact with infected individuals or through contaminated food or drinks. Common symptoms can include jaundice, fever, pain, loss of appetite and diarrhea.

Hepatitis A & B Vaccination

Pneumococcal disease is caused by a bacterial species known as Streptococcus pneumoniae, and can cause a variety of mild to life threatening infections. One of the most common infections that is spread by this bacteria is pneumonia, infection of the lungs. However the bacteria can also cause infection of the bloodstream (leading to bacterial sepsis), meningitis, ear or sinus infection. Symptoms can be aggravated by the presence of other underlying conditions.
