HOE Ellgy H2O Cleansing Bar 100g

HOE Ellgy H2O Cleansing Bar is a gentle, glycerin-based cleansing bar formulated with moisturising ingredients like hydrolysed silk and disodium cocoyl glutamate, designed for those with dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin. It's SLS/SLES-free, which makes it milder than many regular soap bars. Because everyone's skin responds differently, a small number of users may notice mild dryness, tightness, or irritation, especially if they have very reactive skin. It's meant to replace your regular soap as part of a daily cleansing routine rather than being a treatment on its own. If you're managing a specific skin condition, it's worth chatting with a pharmacist about how this bar fits into your overall skincare routine.

There's no dosage in the medical sense — use it daily in place of your regular soap or facial cleanser, once or twice a day depending on your skincare routine. Avoid excessive scrubbing, as this can strip the skin's natural moisture barrier.

• Mild skin dryness or tightness
• Occasional redness on very sensitive skin
• Itching in individuals allergic to a specific ingredient
• Rare allergic contact reactions
• Temporary stinging if it comes into contact with broken skin or the eyes

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excess moisture. Keep the bar in a dry soap dish between uses to help it last longer.

• Use lukewarm rather than hot water to avoid stripping natural oils.
• Pat skin dry instead of rubbing after rinsing.
• Store in a dry soap dish to extend the bar's lifespan.
• Do a patch test first if you have very reactive or eczema-prone skin.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Discontinue use if irritation develops and consult a pharmacist.

Wet your skin with lukewarm water, work the bar into a gentle lather in your hands, and massage it over your face or body for about a minute. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry rather than rubbing.

The cleansing bar is generally stable for around 2–3 years from the date of manufacture when stored correctly and unopened. Always check the expiry date printed on the packaging.

Key functional ingredients include glycerin, disodium cocoyl glutamate, and hydrolysed silk, alongside water, stearic acid, sorbitol, and other cleansing and moisturising agents — this is a cosmetic cleansing bar rather than a medicated product.

Not to be used by individuals with a known hypersensitivity to any of its listed ingredients. Avoid contact with the eyes, and discontinue use if persistent redness, itching, or irritation develops.

As a topical cosmetic cleanser with minimal systemic absorption, drug and food interactions are not a relevant concern. If you're using prescribed topical medication on the same skin areas, it's a good idea to check with your pharmacist on how best to sequence cleansing and treatment steps.
